I came across some really old year books tonight from like sixth through eighth grades. It was, wow. The difference is so ....shocking. I can't even recall some of the people who have graffitied the front pages with signatures and "Have a great summer" or "See you next year". Things changed so much in high school. For example, the girl who I was best friends with in middle school was definately a drug-addict by the time we got out of high school and that guy I was totally in love with he was so... pathetic. It really makes me wonder what would have happened if I hadn't changed? What if I had stuck together with Chris or stayed best friends with Anna? I'll always wonder, but then I realize how far I've come and how I can't imagine changing it for the world... not a single thing. But truly, what good is an embarrassing or bad past if it didn't change or help you become who you are?
Just a little food for thought.
Loveliest thoughts,
Aria
